12-MA-022: Repair Concrete Eaves and Beam / Remove Loose Concrete

Scope of Work: Repair damage roof eaves between bays 8 and 9 (5′ – 6” length). Remove existing gutter. (2 of 8′ lrnght). Clean and chip of concrete affected by the rusted steel bars.(5′ – 6′) Remove the rusted steel bars. (5′ – 6′). Replace with new steel bar by grilling 6″ deep in to the concrete slab and grouted with epoxy adhesive. Apply cement plaster at the affected area. Repaint the surface, and return the gutter and repaint. Repair slight line crack at the eaves. (5′ – 6′ length). Remove existing paint on the affected crack area. Apply epoxy adhesive injection on the cracks and touchup the concrete surface. Repaint the surface. Repair beam’s crack (2′ – 3′ length). Remove existing paint on the crack area. Apply epoxy injection adhesive on the cracks,touch-up concrete surface.

Change Order: Removal of loose concrete on wall and soffit. Position the man-lift equipment to the designated area of work. Chip and scrape the loose concrete on the affected wall as described during the site visit. The approximate area to be scraped off is 75 SF.

Location #1 15’wide x 3’high.

Location#2 15’wide x 2’high.

Relocate the man-lift for concrete roof slab soffit work. Chip and scrape the loose concrete on the soffit (slab bottom part only with visible cracks) with an approximate total area of 108 SF.
