As the Prime Contractor for Andersen Air Force Base (“AAFB”) , IAN Corporation DBA IAN Construction (“IAN”) prepared, sealed, painted and coated 120 military housing units at Roberts Terrace and Capehart Housing, located on AAFB, Guam.
Scope of Work: Perform an initial inspection with client. Analyze and adapt the work schedule for applicable cost saving techniques and the most efficient use of manpower and resources. Surface preparation & application of primer and top coating in accordance with specifications and AAFB standards. Preparation of all exterior surfaces regardless of substrate – new, unpainted, & previously painted. Conduct a lead survey on existing paint prior to starting work performance.
Abatement work – water blasting, solvent, broom, vacuum, and air blast cleaning.Repair cracks with epoxy resin adhesive injection. Completely fill the cracks with epoxy grout. Pressure grouting of cracks. Cure epoxy materials in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
Exterior painting at Roberts Terrace – Paradise Drive, Cocos Court, Coral Drive, Ginger Drive, and Bonins Blvd. Exterior painting at Capehart Housing – Okinawa Lane and Midway Drive.
Final application of specialized coatings that included emulsions, enamels, paints, stains, varnishes, sealers, cement-emulsion filler, and others.Perform field quality control sampling & testing.
