Scope of Work:
B-101 pipe break at stairwell area:
Jackhammer stairwell concrete slab, remove and dispose debris. Hand excavate and expose pipe break area, approximately 5 feet deep. Clean pipe break area and install 2” pipe repair compression sleeve, tighten securel. Coordinate with DZSP to open supply valves, check repaired pipe for leaks. Place bedding sand around repaired pipe. Backfill and compact excavation. Install welded wire mesh and place new 2500 psi concrete to restore concrete slab, finish to match existing. Apply non-skid paint to restored concrete slab to match existing areas.
B-105 pipe break under concrete walkway (additive SOW):
Jackhammer concrete walkway, remove and dispose debris. Hand excavate and expose pipe break area. Cut out damaged section of 1-1/2” pipe, approximately 3 feet long, and install replacement pipe with compression joints at each end. Coordinate with DZSP to open supply valves, check repaired pipe for leaks. Place bedding sand around repaired pipe. Backfill and compact excavation. Install welded wire mesh and place new 2500 psi concrete to restore concrete slab, finish to match existing. Apply non-skid paint to restored concrete slab to match existing areas.
