Rehabilitate Runway 6L/24R – Construction Phase II
Client: Guam International Airport Authority
The purpose of the Rehabilitate Runway 6L/24R – Construction Phase II project at Guam’s A.B. Won Pat International Airport is to ensure the continued safety, functionality, and longevity of the airport’s primary runway, which handles 95% of all runway operations.
Key objectives of the Project included:
- Rehabilitation of Pavement: Replace and remove pavements on Runway 6L/24R
- Structural Upgrades: Includes demolition of existing pavement, subgrade improvement, and installation of new runway pavement.
- Safety Enhancements: Removal and replacement of runway markings to meet updated aviation standards
